Q: Why did you choose the Tribe?
A: Is there really any other choice? Legitimately, I knew I would succeed as a student and an athlete while at William & Mary. Also, the coaches and support staff can’t be compared to those at any other school; the decision was simple.
Q: Describe a moment when you felt the most Tribe pride...
A: I’m not sure yet, but I’m sure that there will be plenty of them!
Q: Take us through your pre-game mental preparation routine:
A: I focus on my upcoming race and while stretch while wearing my team warm-ups and listening to my iPod with my noise-blocking headphones.
Q: Do you belong to any other clubs, groups, or organizations?
A: Not as of right now.
Q: What are some community activities you or your team have done?
A: I’m not sure because I haven’t participated in any yet.
Q: What is your intended or declared major and why?
A: My intended major is Kinesiology because I have always been tremendously interested in the medical field.
Q: Describe your dream job:
A: Working as a Physician’s Assistant in a Pediatrician’s office or working as a nurse anesthetist because I enjoy helping others.
Q: If you could play another sport at W&M what would it be and why?
A: Lacrosse, because I can be physically aggressive when I need to be and I just feel like I’d be good at it.
Q: Favorite team tradition/activity and why?
A: I’m not sure yet, because I haven’t experienced any of them.
Q: Which teammate will have the most interesting job in 10 years and why?
A: I can’t really say because I don’t know my teammates well enough to make an accurate prediction.
Q: What animal would best describe you and why?
A: As corny as this may seem, I would have to say a dog. I have a lot of energy, I’m nice to whoever comes my way, and I can sleep just about anywhere.
Q: What is your favorite quote or phrase?

Q: What is your favorite type of food (i.e. Chinese, Mexican, etc.)?
A: All-American
Q: Favorite place you have visited or traveled to and why?
A: Santa Cruz, California; incredible views from any location, perfect weather, ideal location, fantastic beach, good food, nice people, laid-back atmosphere. Just awesome all-around.
Q: If you could sit down for lunch with anyone in the world who would it be and why?
A: Dave Matthews (of the Dave Matthews Band) because he’s a musical genius and he just seems like one of the most interesting people ever ... not to mention he’s from (Charlottesville) Virginia!
Q: Most addicting television show?
A: Glee!
Q: How will you change the world (or even just one person’s world)?
A: Free hugs.
Q: Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know...
A: I had lived in California, Florida, Texas, and Maryland before moving to Virginia when I was 10.

A: “Katie Thomas is beyond stoked to be a part of the William & Mary Class of 2015!!! :)”
Q: What’s number one on your bucket list and why?
A: Go skydiving! I’m definitely a thrill-seeker/ adrenaline junkie and what better to do than go skydiving?!
Q: What is your best non-athletic skill?
A: Cooking/Baking

A: My best friend from home, Jessica Rocheleau. She is swimming at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and it’s a great way to see what she’s up to.
Q: What is your biggest pet peeve and why?
A: People that are mean, disrespectful, and/or rude to others for no reason. If you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all.
Q: What is something you are afraid of?
A: Nothing. Bring it on.
Q: What is an obstacle you had to overcome in your life?
A: Being diagnosed with ADHD at age nine, and the divorce of my parents during my junior year of high school.
