Q: Why did you choose
the Tribe?
I chose the Tribe because I wanted to attend an academically
challenging school while competing at the Division I level.
Q: Describe a moment
when you felt the most Tribe pride...
I felt the most Tribe pride when I practiced in the gymnastics gym for
the first time. It felt like I had found the place I needed to be.
Q: Take us through
your pre-game mental preparation routine:
Usually I will listen to music and get really pumped up before a competition.
Q: What are some
community activities you or your team has done?
We are going to be doing a Diabetes walk on the day of homecoming, and
we also volunteer at the William and Mary club gymnastics team's home meet.
Q: What is your
intended or declared major and why?
My declared major is history while fulfilling my pre-med requirements.
I chose history because I love the subject and college is one of the last times
you can study what you truly adore.
Q: Describe your dream
job:
My dream job is to be a sports medicine orthopedic surgeon. I want to
give back to athletes because I have been so thoughtfully taken care of over
the course of my gymnastics career.
Q: If you could play
another sport at W&M what would it be and why?
I would play soccer because I love how fast paced the game is played.
Q: Favorite team tradition/activity
and why?
I like green and gold Fridays at the gym. Dressing up in school colors
makes practices more enjoyable and brings the team closer together.
Q: What animal would
best describe you and why?
I
think a cheetah would be describe me because I am a fairly quick sprinter.
Q: What is your
favorite quote or phrase?
"Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose" Friday Night Lights
Q: What is your
favorite type of food (i.e. Chinese, Mexican, etc.)?
My favorite food is sushi.
Q: Favorite place you
have visited or traveled to and why?
The best place I have visited is Greece. It was beautiful, cultured,
and a lot of my extended family still resides there.
Q: If you could sit
down for lunch with anyone in the world who would it be and why?
I would sit down with Gabby Douglas. She seems like such a sweet girl
who overcame a lot of adversity to become the women's all-around gold medalist at
the Olympics. I think she would be extremely interesting to have lunch with.

television show?
Vampire Diaries
Q: How will you change
the world (or even just one person's world)?
I think communication can solve a lot of problems. So if you are a
friendly face and a constant support system you can definitely change one
person's world.
Q: Tell us something
about yourself that most people don't know...
I went to a private boarding school for high school.
Q: What was your
most-commented Facebook post?
The one where I claimed I was officially accepted into the College of
William and Mary.
Q: What is your best
non-athletic skill?
Shopping.
Q: What is your
biggest pet peeve and why?
My
biggest pet peeve is uncleanliness.
Q: What is something
you are afraid of?
I
am afraid of the future and all the unknowns life has to offer.
Q: What is an obstacle
you had to overcome in your life?
I
have had to overcome many injuries in my life to continue with gymnastics.
