Q: Why did you choose
the Tribe?
I chose the Tribe because I felt more at home and welcomed to the
environment.
Q: Describe a moment
when you felt the most Tribe pride...
I think probably during the whole orientation experience, from the
first time I got to school I felt part of the William and Mary community and
was proud to be part of it.
Q: Take us through
your pre-game mental preparation routine:
I visualize all my routines when we are on the bus, listen to my ipod
and try to relax. When warm-up starts I
focus on my Tribe, I don't look at any of the competitors, and when it's time
for our team huddle before the competition begins I really get in the moment
and enjoy the time.
Q: What are some
community activities you or your teams have done?
We volunteered for a triathlon, did a food drive, and a diabetes
walk.
Q: What is your
intended or declared major and why?
Something in the business field.
Q: Describe your dream
job:
I'm not exactly sure what my dream job what be, still trying to figure
that out. I would have to include food
and shopping though! Maybe owning my own restaurant.
Q: If you could play
another sport at W&M what would it be and why?
I think it would be field hockey, my roommate last year was a field
hockey player and I really respected how much she loved her sport and her
teammates. As the year went on I became
good friends with the team and I enjoyed their sport.
Q: Favorite team
tradition/activity and why?
One of my favorite little traditions we have is when the national anthem
plays every meet, the team is in a line and we all hold pinkies. Even though this is just a small tradition I
love it because it keeps a routine to our hectic competitions, and it makes us
feel like a family.
Q: Which teammate will
have the most interesting job in 10 years and why?
Jenny Ware! She's super smart and can do anything; she will defiantly
do something great.
Q: What animal would
best describe you and why?
A
monkey, I love to swing bars in gymnastics and I love bananas too!
Q: What is your
favorite quote or phrase?
"Attitude is everything"
Q: What is your
favorite type of food (i.e. Chinese, Mexican, etc.)?
Mexican
Q: Favorite place you
have visited or traveled to and why?
I visited London, England with my grandma and cousins, we saw all the
great cites but I think this trip was so memorable and fun because of the
people I was with.
Q: If you could sit
down for lunch with anyone in the world who would it be and why?
Tina Fey, I recently read her book, Bossy Pants. I thought it
was hilarious, I think she is a smart person and I know the lunch would be
entertaining.
Q: Most addicting
television show?
Entourage, I can watch it for hours!
Q: How will you change
the world (or even just one person's world)?
I would like to help underprivileged children by giving them food and
clothing.
Q: Tell us something
about yourself that most people don't know...
Most people don't know that during the summer months as soon as the
sun is out, I get freckles everywhere.

Water
activities, I realized this summer I am not a Sea Girl. I'm afraid of water sports like jet skiing,
water skiing, and I'm not about to take up surfing.
Q: What is an obstacle
you had to overcome in your life?
My freshmen year of high
school I moved to the next highest level in gymnastics. I struggled that year with the pressure of
both the changes in school and gymnastics.
That year I learned to always stay "calm, cool, and collected" and not
get frustrated when things don't go the way I want. I think I learned a lot that year and grew as
a person.
