Q: Why did you choose the Tribe?

Q: Describe a moment when you felt the most Tribe pride...
Walking through the Wren Building on Convocation to see all of the upperclassmen waiting on the other side

Q: Take us through your pre-game mental preparation routine:
I visualize every piece of my race. I tell myself that it will be hard and it will hurt, but I’m going to push through and keep my rhythm and that’s the only way I’m going to PR.

Q: Do you belong to any other clubs, groups, or organizations?
Active member of hall council

Q: What are some community activities you or your team have done?
Made gift baskets, helped with the Colonial Half Marathon, helped with an elementary school fun run

Q: What is your intended or declared major and why?
English (because I love English and medical schools like variety) and pre-med (because I want to be a doctor)

Q: Describe your dream job:
Working as a trauma surgeon in a busy city hospital where I can help a lot of people and save many lives.

Q: If you could play another sport at W&M what would it be and why?
Fencing, they always seem to have so much fun, and fencing is such a graceful sport that I’d like to try.

Q: Favorite team tradition/activity and why?
Line dancing at a barn party...at first it seems really stupid, but then it’s actually a lot of fun.

Q: Which teammate will have the most interesting job in 10 years and why?
Maybe Ben Katz, because he’s majoring in physics so he’ll be a super-smart engineer or something.

Q: What animal would best describe you and why?
Probably a cat, because I’m quiet and I just like to sit and watch things.
 
Q: What is your favorite quote or phrase?
“If you don’t keep pushing, you’ll regret it the rest of your life.” Dathan Ritzenhein.

Q: What is your favorite type of food (i.e. Chinese, Mexican, etc.)?
Italian

Q: Favorite place you have visited or traveled to and why?
Macinac Island, Michigan; it’s a tiny island town on Lake Michigan where there are no cars allowed. It’s so pretty and quaint, and you have to take a ferryboat to get there.

Q: If you could sit down for lunch with anyone in the world who would it be and why?
Dr. Hawa Abdi; because I want to meet and talk to such an extraordinarily strong woman, and I imagine she has amazing stories of courage and healing.

Q: Most addicting television show?
Arrested Development

Q: How will you change the world (or even just one person’s world)?
Saving lives

Q: Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know...
I grew up without a television.

Q: What was your most-commented Facebook post?
“i would just like to proclaim to the world how much i adore severus snape.”

Q: What’s number one on your bucket list and why?
See the Aurora Borealis; I think it will astound me.

Q: What is your best non-athletic skill?
Writing.

Q: Favorite Person to follow on Twitter?
I don’t have a Twitter.

Q: What is your biggest pet peeve and why?
Things rolling around in the back of my car when I’m driving, because I think that something will break or that something is broken.

Q: What is something you are afraid of? 
Not being in control.

Q: What is an obstacle you had to overcome in your life?
Moving around a lot as a child and dealing with being the “new kid” all the time.
