On Saturday evening, April 14, the College of William and Mary's Athletics Department inducted 10 individuals and one team into its Hall of Fame.  The event took place at Williamsburg's Crown Plaza Hotel and was witnessed by a crowd of over 350 friends, fans and family.  After spending the first hour catching up with old friends over cocktails, a formal dinner was served prior to the actual inductions taking place.

Pre-recorded videos were played to introduce each inductee before they presented their induction speech. It was a great evening for all in attendance and really a can't miss event for any serious Tribe fan.  Watch TribeAthletics.com for more coverage of the event, as complete videos will be released in the coming weeks.

The College's Class of 2012 includes: Brendan Harris (Baseball), Will Harvie (Men's Tennis), Stephanie Loehr (Soccer), John McHenry (Golf), Karen van der Merwe (Women's Tennis), Margie Vaughan (Snead) (Soccer/Lacrosse), Mike Tomlin (Football) and Raheem Walker (Football) and one entire squad, the 1982 women's tennis team.  Additionally, two Tribe men soccer greats, Wade Barrett and Adin Brown, will also be formally inducted on the evening, as well.  The pair had each been selected in previous years (Barrett in 2010, Brown in 2011), but both had deferred their induction due to scheduling conflicts with their professional playing careers.
