WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (Oct. 21, 2015) — William & Mary women's gymnastics head coach
Mary Lewis has announced the Tribe's
2016 schedule. In addition to hosting the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship in mid-March, the challenging slate will feature a pair of regular-season home meets at Kaplan Arena.
Following the annual Green and Gold exhibition on Dec. 4, the Tribe's competitive season will officially get underway when it travels to North Carolina on Jan. 10.
After returning to Williamsburg for a home dual meet with Temple on Jan. 15, W&M will be on the road for its next six competitions. The month of January will include trips to West Virginia (Jan. 24) and San Jose State (Jan. 29), while February features meets at the Temple Ken Anderson Invitational (Feb. 6), N.C. State Sweetheart Invitational (Feb. 12), George Washington (Feb. 19) and Towson (Feb. 26).
W&M will wrap up the regular season with a home meet against North Carolina for Senior Day (March 5) and a road matchup with Towson (March 13).
The Tribe will look for its third consecutive ECAC title when it hosts the league championship on March 19, while the NCAA Regional follows two weeks later on April 2.
