WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Sophomore guard Jenna Green was named the Tribe women's basketball team captain for the 2015-16 announced by head coach Ed Swanson on Thursday afternoon.
 
"Jenna has shown great leadership during the summer, preseason, and early stages of this season," Swanson said. "She embodies the type of character, leadership, and ability we look for at William & Mary."
 
Green, who is just a sophomore, has appeared in all 33 games of her career and started all, but one game. She has averaged 4.3 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists a game through 33 career games. This season she is averaging 5.5 ppg, 3.5 rpg., and 6.0 apg.
