WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – It's rapidly approaching and this year with more flair. The William & Mary Athletics Department and Tribe basketball will host its annual Gold Rush Game, sponsored by University Advancement, in conjunction with W&M Charter Day on Saturday, Feb. 6. For the first time, a basketball game will be integrated into the Charter Day activities as the Tribe hosts Delaware at 2:30 p.m. in a game that will be televised nationally on the NBC Sports Network.
 
Along with creating an unforgettable atmosphere inside Kaplan Arena, the WMGoldRush wants to PacktheKap with Gold-clade Tribe fans. As a result, 6,000 free t-shirts wil be handed out to fans. Boyer's Diamonds & Fine Jewelry continues its support of the Gold Rush Game, once again providing 3,000 gold pom-poms to be handed out at the door. Sodexo will also be giving out 1,000 Charter Day cookies for the fans to celebrate W&M's 323rd birthday.
 
Painting Kaplan Gold won't be the only promotion at the #WMGoldRush Game on Charter Day. University Advancement is sponsoring the halftime Charter Day Diaper Derby with a grand prize gift certificate to a local restaurant. Click HERE for more information and to register for the baby race.
 
The Alumni Association and Tribe Club are co-sponsoring a pre-game reception that includes a cash bar and free food in the Person Room. Registration for this limited-access event is available on the Alumni Association website.
 
Tribal Fever and FYE are hosting a pregame reception/face-painting session, "Food, Face Painting, Fun," for all students prior to Saturday's #WMGoldRush game. The event will begin at 12:30 p.m., in the Chesapeake Room of the Sadler Center and run through 1:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend and get hyped for the exciting #WMGoldRush game. #WMGoldRush PARKING ADVISORY
Initially all parking will begin in the W&M Hall lot. Once the Hall Lot is full, parking staff will direct cars towards the following parking locations in consequential order once each lot becomes full.  Shuttle van service will be available from each lot as necessary from designated pick-up and drop-off locations in each lot.
