WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Tribe Athletics is excited to announce an exclusive linear broadcast partnership with Cox Communications in Virginia for the Tribe men's basketball home game against instate foe Old Dominion on Nov. 25. The contest, which follows the women's game with Loyola (Md.) as part of a Tribe basketball doubleheader, carries a 7 p.m., start time from Kaplan Arena.
The game will be available throughout Hampton Roads on Yurview Virginia, Cox's channel 1011, while additional outlets include Fairfax County (1074), Fredericksburg (1077) and Roanoke (1009). Other markets will also be included and will be announced closer to game day.
The multi-camera HD production will also be streamed on Tribe Athletics TV via Stretch Internet. It will be part of the extensive CAA.TV broadcast lineup that allows fans to watch with custom applications on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Android TV. The apps provide a seamless way to access content directly to a user's television – with no need to "relay" or "cast" the stream from tablets, phones or desktop computers. Users can access the content simply by searching for "CAA" on the app interfaces on any of the compatible platforms, and then downloading the free CAA.TV app. Using the professionally-designed, intuitive interface, fans can easily view a conference-wide schedule of live, upcoming and on-demand broadcasts – or filter by a specific school.
