Gold Rush Game Set to be Televised on Cox Yurview

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Tribe Athletics is excited to announce an exclusive linear broadcast partnership with Cox Communications in Virginia to broadcast Tribe men's basketball's Gold Rush Game on Saturday. W&M hosts Delaware at 2 p.m., as part of Charter Day Weekend at the school. The contest also will be available in select out-of-town markets through Cox Yurview.

The broadcast will also feature an interview with former Tribe women's soccer standout and current U.S. Women's National Team Head Coach Jill Ellis '88.  Ellis will join long-time W&M play-by-play broadcaster Jay Colley during halftime. Ellis will be a recipient of The Alumni Medallion on Saturday as part of Charter Day Weekend. It is the highest and most prestigious award the William & Mary Alumni Association can bestow on a graduate.
 
The game will be available throughout Hampton Roads on Yurview Virginia, Cox's channel 1011, while additional outlets in Virginia include Fairfax County (1074) and Roanoke (1009). The game will be available to Cox subscribers in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, Florida (Gainesville and Ocala), Louisiana (New Orleans and Baton Rouge), Nevada (Las Vegas) and California (San Diego, Orange County and Santa Barbara). The multi-camera HD production will also be streamed on Tribe Athletics TV via Stretch Internet. It will be part of the extensive CAA.TV broadcast lineup that allows fans to watch with custom applications on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Android TV. The apps provide a seamless way to access content directly to a user's television – with no need to "relay" or "cast" the stream from tablets, phones or desktop computers. Users can access the content simply by searching for "CAA" on the app interfaces on any of the compatible platforms, and then downloading the free CAA.TV app. Using the professionally-designed, intuitive interface, fans can easily view a conference-wide schedule of live, upcoming and on-demand broadcasts – or filter by a specific school. Information about the platforms and compatible devices are available below.

Saturday will be the Tribe's fourth-annual Gold Rush Game, sponsored by For The Bold: The Campaign for William & Mary. For the third-straight year, the basketball game will be integrated into the Charter Day Weekend activities.
