WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary baseball added to its roster this fall, signing 20 players to the class of 2025.

The group includes 14 incoming freshmen and six transfers, several of whom bring extensive playing experience.

"We are really excited about this incoming group of players," said Tribe head coach Rob McCoy. "Coach [Caleb] Lang and coach [Brad] Mincey did a phenomenal job of getting out and connecting with coaches from all over the country, and right here at home, to spread our message of William & Mary Baseball."

"Not only did we address our positional needs, but we got TRIBE culture guys: men who want to represent our core values, be leaders of men, and leave their legacy here at William & Mary."

Derek Baker

Three-time All-Tidewater member at Maury High School… Four-time all-district and two-time all-region team… Recognized to the PBR Virginia Player of the Year watchlist… 2024 PBR National championship finalist… 2022 Little League Senior World Series finalist.

Stephen Christopher
RHP • Fr. • Warrenton, Va. • Highland School
Four-year letterwinner at Highland School where he was part of two state championships… Named a two-time Perfect Game Preseason Underclassmen All-American… First team all-state selection… Also earned Perfect Game All-Region honors… Had the highest recorded curveball spin rate at the 2024 Perfect Game National Showcase… Four-time honor roll selection in the classroom.

Taylor Easthope
LHP • Fr. • Newport Beach, Calif. • JSerra Catholic
Lettered for two years at JSerra Catholic High School… Played for GBG National on the club circuit where was a WWBA National Championship Finalist and USA Arizona Gold Medalist… Named to the dean's list and honor roll.

Chase Ecker
OF • Fr. • Malvern, Pa. • Malvern Prep
Three-time state champion at Malvern Prep (Pa.)... Two-time all-league and all-area honoree… Named 2025 Inter AC MVP and Malvern Prep Team MVP… Earned 2024 Second Team All-Inter AC honors… Owns the school's career stolen base record with 37… Had a 4.0 GPA and was named to the honor roll… Also played football, soccer, and track.

Brooks Graham

Part of two state championship teams at Highland School in 2022 and 2025… Earned Second Team VISAA All-State honors in 2024… Named to the 2025 Florida League High School Invitational All Tournament Team after his team won the championship… Garnered the 2025 Highland Baseball Mission Award… Played for the Richmond Braves club team.

Jett Humphreys
INF • Fr. • Abingdon, Va. • Abingdon
First team all-state selection at Abingdon High School… Earned state player of the year honors… Three-time district player of the year and two-time all-region player of the year… Tabbed to the all-district and all-region team four times… Holds the Abingdon record for most strikeouts and wins, and is tied for the single-season home run record… In the classroom, earned a 4.12 GPA and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Connor Jernigan

Began his career at Brookline High School in Massachusetts before transferring to Avon Old Farms in Connecticut… Helped Avon Old Farms to the Founders League Championship in 2024… Named to the head of school's list and dean's list… Competed for the Boston Prime and Dirtbags club teams.

Dylan McCarthy

Two-time all-district selection at Colonial Forge High School.

Carter Mitchell

Was a three-time all-Prep League, all-state, and all-metro selection at Collegiate School in Richmond.

Blake Moore

Jack Pye

Justin Summers

Ranked the No. 1 catcher in Virginia in the class of 2025 according to Perfect Game… Had a decorated career at Highland School, earning VISAA All-State First Team honors twice and helping lead the Hawks to a pair of Division II state championships… Lettered five years on varsity squad… All-time single-season and career home run leader at Highland… Named to the 2025 Perfect Game Atlantic Region All-High School Senior First Team… 2025 Prep Baseball Virginia All-State First Team… Named to the All-Tournament Team at the Florida League High School Invitational… 2024 Perfect Game First Team All Region selection and All-American High Honorable Mention… Named Highland's Most Valuable Offensive Player in 2024… Two-time varsity captain… Made honor roll every semester.

Cooper Tarlie

Career record holder in doubles, triples, runs, and total bases at Illinois College… Two-time All-Midwest Conference selection and ABCA All-Region choice… Batted .374 with a .667 slugging percentage and 33 RBI in 40 games as a junior in 2025… Also stole 21 bases… For his career at IC, slashed .360/.459/.657 with 22 homers and 106 RBI.

Connor Chavez

Team captain at Penn as a senior in 2025… Racked up 28 runs, 31 hits, and 14 RBI in 36 games… Named Honorable Mention All-Ivy as a second baseman… Started 46 games as a junior in 2024 while batting .281 with three home runs and 16 RBI… Named to the Ivy League All-Tournament Team… Spent the previous two seasons at Northeast Texas Community College.

Joey Chitla

Spent freshman year at Wofford before transferring to W&M… Was a two-time gold glove award winner at North Raleigh Christian Academy... As a sophomore, led the team in doubles, hits and stolen bases.

Liam O'Neil

Appeared in all 55 games for Polk State as a sophomore, posting a .274 batting average and a .400 on-base percentage with seven homers and 36 RBI, both tied for the team lead… Also drew 33 walks, ranking second on the Eagles… Earned second team All-Citrus Conference honors as a freshman in 2024, hitting .289 with a team-leading eight home runs and 31 RBI.

Ryan Santangelo

Played the last two seasons at Bryant after transferring from Northampton Community College… As a freshman at Northampton, batted .395 with 13 home runs and 66 RBI, adding nine doubles and 55 runs.

Jackson Woolwine

Tabbed the RMAC Freshman of the Year in 2023, leading the Orediggers in runs with 54 and walks with 29... Posted a .366 batting average, racking up 64 hits, 16 doubles, two home runs and 38 RBI… Upped his average to .369 as a sophomore, collecting 23 doubles and 31 RBI and posting a .500 OBP en route to earning Honorable Mention All-RMAC honors… Hit .352 this past spring with four home runs and 27 RBI… For his career, owns a .362/.456/.556 line with 11 homers, 96 RBI, and 60 stolen bases.
