Al Albert joined the Tribe Club staff in January 2004 after a 33-year career as William and Mary's men's soccer coach. During his tenure leading the Tribe, he amassed more than 400 wins and brought the Tribe onto the national soccer scene.
Besides his coaching career at W&M, he is a co-founder of both the Virginia Legacy Soccer Club and the Tidewater Soccer Camps and is a past president of United Soccer Coaches.
Al lives in Williamsburg with his wife Gail (class of 1976). They have two children, Graham ’03 and Allison, both of whom live in New York City with their families.
