Brandon Parker Leads Tribe at UNCW Intercollegiate

Wilmington, N.C. - The William and Mary Tribe men’s golf team began play at the UNCW Seahawk Intercollegiate in Wilmington, North Carolina on Monday, playing two rounds and finishing the day with a team score of 626 (+50) to place 11th after 36 holes. Augusta State sits atop the leaderboard with a team total of 569 (-7).

Leading the way for the College on the first day was junior Brandon Parker, who after firing a first round 81 (+9), shot a 72 (E) in the second round to rocket up the leaderboard. With his score of 153 (+9), Parker sits in a tie for 39th.

Freshman Jeremy Wells fired rounds of 77-79 to finish the day with a total of 156 (+12), while sophomore Scott Saal shot rounds of 80-79 to end the first two rounds in a tie for 49th with a score of 159 (+15).

Junior Zach Glassman had a solid day, tying for 52nd after two rounds with a total score of 160 (+16). Only one shot behind Glassman in a tie for 57th is teammate Conor O’Brien, who carded rounds of 79-82 to end the day with a score of 161 (+17).

The William and Mary Tribe men’s golf team will look to make a charge up the leaderboard on Tuesday in Wilmington when the teams play the third and final round. Results will be posted as soon as they become available.
