Men’s Cross Country Re-Enters National Poll at #21

Second-Place Finish in Region Prompts Return After One-Month Hiatus

WILLIAMSBURG - After being out of the national top 30 for the past month, William and Mary’s men’s cross country program used a huge team effort at the Southeast Regional last weekend to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships and jump back into the polls at the 21st position. Great Lakes Region champs Wisconsin held onto the top spot they’ve occupied all season, while Southeast Region champions North Carolina State moved up one spot to seventh.

William and Mary will try for its third IC4A championships this Saturday, November 18, at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx. On Monday, it will chase the national title at the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana.
