Men's Cross Country to Compete for National Title

WILLIAMSBURG - William and Mary will compete for the NCAA Men's Cross Country Championship on Monday, November 20, at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center in Terre Haute, Indiana. The Tribe is in the NCAA Championships for the 10th year in a row, and 22nd time overall.

Complete Race Notes

In Good Company
William and Mary is making its 10th consecutive appearance (22nd overall) at the NCAA Championships in 2006. Only four other schools have attended every race since 1997; Arkansas, Colorado, Stanford, and Wisconsin.

Seven and Counting
When the Tribe won the CAA Championships this season for the seventh consecutive time, it tied Navy’s 1983-89 run for most consecutive conference championships.

Hanging Around Near the Top
William and Mary has been first or second in the CAA Championships for an outstanding 19 years (since the 1987 season). To put that in perspective, three of the Tribe’s freshmen this year were not even born when that race was run, and a fourth was only four days old.
