Women’s Golf Seventh After First Round at Red Rocks

SEDONA, ARIZ - William and Mary’s women’s golf team is in seventh place after the first round of play at the Red Rocks Invitational this morning. The round started yesterday at noon in Arizona, but was suspended due to darkness with two-thirds of the field still on the course.

Freshman Brielle Paolini (Virginia Beach, Va.) led the Tribe in the round, shooting a five-over 77 to stand tied for 15th overall. Junior Misha Harvey (Forest, Va.) is one shot behind her in a tie for 19th. Freshman Morgan Stepanek (Guilford, Conn.) is tied for 39th at +10, and senior captain Melissa DePuy (Naples, Fla.) is at +11. Junior Erika Oldenkamp (Hinsdale, Ill.) rounds out the College’s complement, shooting 86 in the first round back after a semester abroad.

The Red Rocks Invitational concludes with a round today.
