Men’s Golf Tied for 14th at Lacrosse Homes Collegiate

Jimmy Femino Leads Team in Tie for 19th

GRASONVILLE, MD - In a cold and windy first round, William and Mary’s men’s golf team played well to stand tied for 14th with one round to play at the Lacrosse Homes Collegiate Invitational. St. John’s is the clubhouse leader at 293 (+5). Adam Webb of Longwood and Matt Busa of Georgetown were the only players to hit under par, and are tied for the lead with 70 (-2)

Jimmy Femino (Manassas, Va.) was the Tribe’s leader in the round, shooting a two-over 74 to stand tied for 19th. Senior Ryan Price (Chantilly, Va.) is one shot back, tied for 26th. Sophomore Doug Hurson (Bethesda, Md.) is tied for 61st after shooting 79, and freshman Conor O’Brien (Weatogue, Conn.) is tied for 94th. Sophomore Brent Paladino (Kensington, Conn.) rounds out the team in 99th.

The invitational ends tomorrow with one round.
