Before coming the Williamsburg, he was the head coach at his alma mater, the University of Rhode Island, for 13 seasons. During his stint at URI, Coach Leoni was named the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year twice, won the Atlantic 10 regular season championship two times, and won the Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship in 2005.

Coach Taylor is in his 2nd year as an assistant coach at William and Mary. Before joining Coach Leoni’s staff, Coach Taylor was an assistant coach at the University of Richmond for three seasons. During his time at UR, Coach Taylor was a part of one regular season championship team and one tournament championship team.
