Katie Radloff Breaks Olympic Trials Standard at 100m

INDIANAPOLIS - Sophomore standout Katie Radloff (Arlington, Va.) posted the first Olympic Trials-qualifying swim in the history of William and Mary women’s swimming this morning, timing 57.07 in the preliminary heats of the 100m freestyle.

Radloff had 50m splits of 27.46 and 29.61 en route to posting the third-fastest time of the morning, and one of only five performances to make the Olympic Trials cut. She was only nine-hundredths of a second behind the top qualifier, and will swim in the championship finals heat this evening for a chance at the junior national title.
