Tribe Wraps up Fall Season with Final Day of the Tribe Invitational

W&M will return to action at the South Florida Invitational, Jan. 11-13.

Williamsburg - The William and Mary men’s tennis team wrapped up the fall portion of its 2007-08 schedule with the third and final day of the Tribe Invitational at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center.

Notre Dame swept the singles titles at the event with Sheeva Parbhu claiming the top singles flight and Stephen Havens and Tyler Davis winning the second and third singles flights. Maryland took the top two doubles flights with Amit Inbar and Boris Fetbroyt taking the top doubles flight and Nickolai Nielsen and Michael Coleman taking the second pairs flight. The Notre Dame duo of David Anderson and Stephen Havens claimed the third doubles flight.

Sophomores Keziel Juneau and Richard Wardell claimed victories on the final day of the Tribe Invitational to improve to 3-1 in the second and third singles flights respectively. Juneau defeated Tribe freshman Varun Pandit, 7-5, 6-3, in the second flight, while Wardell downed fellow teammate, freshman Ben Wirth, 6-4, 6-4, in the third singles flight.

The Tribe will return to action at the South Florida Invitational, Jan. 11-13.
