Tribe Wraps Up Fall at Kitty Harrison Invite

Sophomore Lauren Sabacinski went a perfect 4-0 in singles at the three-day event.

Chapel Hill, N.C. - The William and Mary women’s tennis team wrapped up competition at the Kitty Harrison Invitational on Sunday, Nov. 11. Sophomores Magdalena Bresson and Lauren Sabacinski both tallied singles victories against Princeton foes on the final day of the tournament.

Sabacinski remain perfect at the 3-day event, improving to 4-0 in singles with an easy 6-0, 6-1 win over Princeton’s Kristen Scott. The win bumped her season mark to 13-3. Bresson needed three sets, before downing Sarah Hoffman of Princeton, 4-6, 6-0, 10-7. She improved to 14-3 on the year with the victory.

The Kitty Harrison Invitational was the final fall tournament for the Tribe. W&M will open the dual match portion of the schedule on the road at a pair of Big Ten schools. The College will face Michigan State on Saturday, Jan. 19, before facing Northwestern on Sunday, Jan. 20.
