Kim Mount Selected to VaSID All-State Second Team

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - William and Mary junior setter Kim Mount has been selected to the Virginia University Division All-State Second Team by the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID).

A second-team all-conference selection, Mount ranked third in the Colonial Athletic Association with 11.67 assists per game. Additionally, she averaged 0.54 kills per game, 2.64 digs per game and 0.38 blocks per game.

The Corte Madera, Calif., native finished the season with 10 double-doubles and was honored as the CAA Co-Player of the Week on Sept. 24 after averaging 14.57 apg in the victories at UNC Wilmington and Georgia State. Her 53-assist effort in the triumph against the Seahawks nearly equaled the school record for assists in a three-game match.

Mount recorded four of her double-doubles in consecutive matches in late October. Her performance in the win against Hofstra highlighted the span, as she came up just four kills shy of posting a triple-double.
