Madison, Wis. - The No. 13 William and Mary women’s tennis team wrapped up competition in the consolation bracket of the ITA National Team Indoor Championship with a 5-2 victory over host and No. 75-ranked Wisconsin on Saturday morning. The Tribe won the doubles point, before tallying singles wins at the No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 and No. 5 positions to improve to 5-3 on the season.

W&M used the same formula as its last match again No. 19 Notre Dame with doubles wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions. The 2007 NCAA Finalist team of senior Megan Moulton-Levy and junior Katarina Zoricic won their sixth straight match with an 8-2 win over Elizabeth Carpenter and Jessica Seyferth at the No. 1 doubles slot. The win bumped Moulton-Levy and Zoricic’s season-mark to 14-4. Like it had the previous day, the sophomore tandem of Ragini Acharya and Lauren Sabacinski clinched the initial point of match, 8-5, at the No. 3 spot over Emese Kardhordo and Erin Jobe.

Moulton-Levy and junior Klaudyna Kasztelaniec quickly made it a 3-0 Tribe lead with straight-set wins at the No. 1 and No. 5 singles positions. Moulton-Levy, who is ranked No. 12-nationally, won her sixth straight match, 6-1, 6-1, over Carpenter at the top singles slot. She improved to 15-3 on the year. Kasztelaniec upended Morgan Tuttle, 6-2, 6-2, to claim her 13th win of the season at the No. 5 slot.

Acharya clinched the W&M win with a straight-set triumph at the No. 3 spot. She defeated Seyferth, 6-1, 7-6 (2), for her team-leading 18th win of the season. Zoricic rounded out the Tribe victory with a 6-2, 7-6 (4) win over Kardhordo at the No. 2 slot. It was Zoricic’s 11th singles win of the season.

The Tribe returns to the Williamsburg with a trio of matches, Feb. 15-18. W&M will face No. 39 Arkansas at noon on Friday, Feb. 15, before facing No. 65 Colorado on Saturday, Feb. 16, at noon.
