KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - The third and final round of the Cuthbert Cup was rained out today at Kiawah Island, with standings finalized after the second round.

The College of Charleston won the women’s invitational and the combined challenge cup, while UNC Wilmington won the men’s invitational on criteria over Washington State. Charleston’s Steffi Kirchmayr and Courtney Brink tied for the women’s individual medal, while Maryland’s Chris Gold was the men’s medalist.

William and Mary’s men’s team finished 10th on the men’s side, and was led by junior Brent Paladino (Kensington, Conn.) who tied for sixth at 1-under (143). The women’s team also finished tenth behind senior Erika Oldenkamp’s (Hinsdale, lll.) 6-over (75-75) outing that tied for 17th.

Both teams will return to Williamsburg for their next outings, with the men hosting the First Market Bank Intercollegiate on March 17-18 at Kingsmill, and the women hosting the same event March 22-23 at Ford’s Colony.
