Getting to Know Aidan Talcott

Talcott is 14-10 in singles competition for the Tribe in 2016-17, including 10 victories at the No. 1 post. Twice during the dual-match campaign, he was named the CAA Player of the Week on Feb. 1 and Feb. 21. Talcott was ranked as high as No. 72 in January and owns a pair of wins over nationally-ranked opponents. He is 25-11 over his two seasons with the Tribe in dual-match singles play and his overall singles winning percentage of 62.3 ranks 12th in the program's record book.
 
The Tribe is the No. 3 seed in the 2017 Colonial Athletic Association Championship, April 21-23. The event will be held at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center and Burlington Tennis Center in Elon, N.C., for the second-straight year. W&M has won four CAA Championships, including the last in 2015. The Green and Gold open play in the quarterfinals at the Burlington Tennis Center on Friday, April 21, against No. 6 seed Drexel at 1 p.m. The CAA Semifinals are set for Saturday, April 22, at 2 p.m., with the championship match on Sunday, April 23, at 2 p.m. The winner of the CAA Championship will earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
